Margaret Cook I found my resource at www.imdb.com and it has all the moves and bio on everyone that you need to know. Director The director is Dennis Hopper who was born in May 17, 1936 in Dodge City, Kansas. He started in films as a young age. He first appears in a slew of TV shows in the 1950’s. In early 1969 Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda and writer Terry Southern wrote a store about a counter culture movie script and they manage to scrape together $400,000 in financial backing to make the movie. The movie was a box success which appealed to the anti-establishment bandwagon, pumping out low budge film about rebellious hippies, bikers, drift dodgers and pot smokers. Screen Writers There were 3 screenwriters for this movie. The first won was Peter Fonda who was born on Feb 23, 1940 in New York City. He joined the Omaha Playhouse and he appeared in the production of “Harvey”. Then he want to New York and became an apprentice in the Cecil wood Theatre. A year later he appeared on Broadway in “Blood Sweat and Stanley Poole.” The other screen writer was Terry Southern. He begins writing satirical outrageous fiction at the age of 12 when he started to rewrite various Edgar Allen Poe stories “Because they didn’t go far enough. He served in the Army during World War II. He began writing short stores in earnest while he was studying at the Sorbonne. The 3 screenwriter was Dennis Hopper who was born in May 17, 1936 in Dodge City, Kansas. He started in films as a young age. He first appears in a slew of TV shows in the 1950’s. Reflections

I think that we should go back to the old Production Code.  Also the reading was very interesting.  I did not know that there was a lot of changes.

    Margaret,
You’ll want to be sure to make separate entries for the different assignments so it is clear what you are doing! I would argue you didn’t engage anything with too much detail because you smashed all the assignments together.

    THE READING

In the aftermath of the 2nd World War the European was financially depended on the American to produce to feed and clothe European populations. It was difficult to impose and kind of economic restrictions on imports. At the end of the 2nd World War the American film industry and at least five distinct advantages over all potential rivals in the international trade.

Between 1985 and 1990 the percentage of revenues earned from American films shown in Europe rose from 64% to 77.4%. In 1991 68% of all films showing in Italy were Americans as were 58.7%, in France 91.5% in Ireland and 93% in the UK. In 10 years between 1983 and 1993 the French cinema lost 15% of its share of the market, while the American cinema gained 20%. At the same time 60% of European film distribution companies were in American hand: That is to say, US companies were not only distributing American films, but many European films as well, operating a stranglehold on the foreign market.

    “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”

I did on the actors and actresses. The actors and actress were very verse on the fight scene. There were all from Hong Kong and knew each other from other films. They did everything right on the fight scenes and love story. It was a fantastic movie.

I did on the fighting scene. A film which involves the use of various fighting art which are usually Eastern in origin, such as kung-fu, karate and tae-kwon do. The form reached it highest peak of popularity in the 70’s with the international sensation of Bruce Lee. Though Run-Run Shaw and others were generating a healthy local business in martial arts films, it wasn’t until the handsome blindingly quick Lee arrived that kung-fu movies were really known outside of Hong Kong.

Lord of the Ring: Return of the King

The actors and the actresses did a very good job with the knowledge of the customs and the land where it was shot. It was shot in Netherlands were it was hilly and it look like it was in that time the film was suppose to be taken in.

The fight scene. There was a battle of the Kings and the evils. They used spares and double axes and swords. They was a lot of people died at the battle

I use www.allmovies.com for my resources
